Dear Room 105 Families,
On the day of our return to school, Monday, April 13, the fifth graders will be taking their first M-Step assessment. In past experiences, students were generally tired, not motivated, and unresponsive upon returning from break. To avoid these problems, please help them out by promoting the following:
· Going to bed at a decent time the few days before returning.
· Eating a healthy dinner and breakfast the evening and morning of the test. (avoid sugary breakfast)
· Waking up on time so they are alert upon arrival at school.
· Bringing glasses to school if they are to be worn for reading/computer work.
· Wear comfortable clothing.
Thank you for your support and cooperation during this testing period. This is a new experience for our students, and we want it to be a successful experience.
HAVE A GREAT BREAK,
Mr.Provost
